What To Avoid

There are a lot of online businesses available on the internet claiming you can make money from the comforts of your own home. When it seems too good to be true, a lot of times it is. It is important to be able to realize when something is actually too good to be true.

Paid Surveys – Paid surveys is one of the biggest scams. Most paid surveys sites charge a fee upon signup. Then the limit the amount of surveys you can get a day. They market it stating you can make anywhere from $1.50 to $10 a survey, but the ones they email you are only $1 or $2 surveys. Those also market daily surveys. You’re lucky to get one or two a day. So that means even if you complete it you make a max of $3
Two requirements that also kill these sites is if you can qualify for a survey, and the surveys take at least 15 minutes to complete all to earn $1.

Dropshipping items on Ebay – I have been there and done that. When I started over 6 years ago I started with dropshipping on ebay. I started along before Doba.com was around and you had to search yahoo for a certain drop shipper. I sign-up for a small mom and pop company which are no longer around, it cost $49.95 to signup. They weren’t that bad and I made a few dollars. Then Doba.com came out and everyone joined up. The problem with dropshipping is this:
• Everyone is selling the same thing on ebay
• If your customer is unhappy and wants a refund you have a return nightmare
• Without ebay their’s no sense to dropship, your private site won’t generate enough traffic
• Doba.com charge $50 a month. Ebay fees have increase = No Profit for you
